Sweet little Lily Grace is growing up! We had her 8 month session and she arrived just as gorgeous as ever – she literally stopped traffic as we were shooting, gathering compliments from everyone who saw her! Here are a few from the day

Meet me here to see what's been happening or may be in the works at Blue Dawn Photography... this is my new blog and is still "under construction" so check back often for added features and category links. You can also find a link to my original blog in the menu bar.

I love senior portrait shoots – so fun! Who wouldn’t want to be a model for a couple of hours??? and Ms. Sierra did a wonderful job – especially considering it was another 103˚ session! Like an oven – but we did our best to stay cool and she kept smiling – love those green eyes! Here are a few from the day…

These two handsome little red heads had to brave some pretty warm weather for their shoot. When we began their session it was 103˚ outside! Needless to say, we headed for the shade! The boys did great (considering there was no swimming pool available) and Mom & Dad were a big help too
Here are a few from the session.

See – we had fun, too. Figured I needed to add a few “happy” pics to balance out my last post.
(even though I think it is adorable)

I promise – this photo is not indicative of our entire session! It was just her way of saying she’d had enough of the paparazzi action.
I still need to blog some of Ms. Adalyn’s photos, but this was WAY too cute not to go ahead and share!!! I love it… (and doesn’t everyone feel this way at one time or another?)

I first met these two handsome little guys last summer – Brock was 2 and Grady was just a few weeks old. Well, they are still as cute as ever and we had a fun, active outdoor session (while trying to beat the heat)! Summer has definitely arrived… Here are a few from the session.

This little one showed up full of sweet, sleepy smiles. She obviously enjoys being a model! I was excited when I realized that Ms. Hannah was going to be able to wear my pom-pom hat. It’s super small and she’s the first little girl who’s been able to fit it! I’ll definitely need to make some larger ones now that I’ve seen it worn so well
. A big thanks to Mom and Dad for being such a great help – here are a few from the session.

Can’t believe little Ms. Norah is already ONE! I haven’t seen her since her newborn shoot (which you can see on the old blog) and she’s all grown up now! She arrived smiling and ready to go! Mom brought balloons and we had a festive little photo shoot. Today is actually Norah’s birthday so let’s celebrate with a few images from her session. :)

Caden was so sweet when he arrived for his session. He had just woke from a nap and couldn’t stop smiling at his mommy! He thinks she is sooo funny… and he is already quite the bookworm! He decided to end our session with a bit of light reading. Take note of his current literary selection
Here are a few from the session.

I met Mr. Julian for his 1 year session and he was so, so serious about the whole ordeal – that is, until Mom brought out the musical instruments! He enjoyed making some lovely noise for me right up until snack time (which, by the way, is always a little guy’s favorite part of the shoot!). Here are a few from our session.

- the most handsome baby in the world! great job!
- Wonderful pictures!!!! This is a truly precious baby.
- thank you!
- These pictures are great! You certainly captured our Julian. He is a precious baby boy as is easily seen in the pictures.
- I cannot completely agree with Jason as I have two boys of my own.....but he is one of the most handsome boys I know! I LOVE the pictures....beautiful!
- Jason, I must agree with you he looks just like his J-Paw Kendrick, so he must be the most handsome baby in the world. Now I have two young grand sons in Grant Alabama who are two young men not babies, and they too look just like a chip off the old block. Just a spitten image of their J-Paw. If you want one that looks just like you, get busy and try again.
