oh – these two were brave little souls! They graciously volunteered for a fun and experimental shoot – I was playing around with some lighting and needed some pretty faces. But there was a catch – they had to leave hair/makeup/clothing to me! Like I said…brave. We actually shot these relatively fast, all things considered, and I believe they wore their “potato sack togas” very well! now, will they be up for round two?

I’ve got quite a few concepts in the works for 2011 – ideas for many new types of shoots! This is one such concept ~ we’ve been planning/scheduling this shoot for a while now and had a lot of FUN with it! I collaborated with Miss Amy Hutchins (hair) and Miss Cindy Carnes (makeup) from Seven Hills Salon. We had the lovely Sierra and Shelby rockin’ their evening wear (and two wonderful moms assisting!). We’ll be offering these sessions soon ~ hair/makeup/photo shoot ~ more info and details to come, but had to share some images!

I had the opportunity to hang out with some of the fine folks from the Rome Photography Club this weekend for a workshop on outdoor portraiture. We kept it very casual & fun and, of course, I had the lovely Ms. Lindsey come model for us. She makes it seem so effortless – even when nearly a dozen people are shooting at the same time! I would really like to start offering more workshops for those interested – so if you or someone you know would like more info, please email me.
