One last post before we head out for a Thanksgiving trip! This was a special session for Audrey, a family tradition of sorts. She is wearing her great grandmother’s dress; one that both Audrey’s mom and aunt were photographed in when they were two years old. (And of course we got some modern clothed shots as well.) I’d like to thank the resident cows, Old McDonald, and Audrey’s mom’s newly discovered talent for balancing an apple on her head (William Tell would be envious!). Can these guys get any cuter???? This was mainly Davis’ session – he’s a big 2 years now – but we got a few shots of brother for good measure. Davis – what a little personality… and boy is he faaassst! but so am I and we were both worn out at the end of his session . It wasn’t too long ago that we were shooting big brother Bryce’s 2 year session – still as handsome as ever. …and sweet enough to conclude the day with a VIP showing of the “gun show” – check it out below, fierce!

We met for this session during the beginning of our June heat wave, but thankfully this group endured and stayed the course. No one ended up in the nearby water, although it was very tempting! …and although they were ready to head for cooler air, I think everyone had a good time (at least it looks like it from the images!) Yes, a new baby boy to add to this sweet family. It seems like just yesterday that we had Caroline’s newborn session & now she’s three! …all grown up and ready to be a big sister (and so proud of little Wes!). Here are a few from our session.

We planned Julian’s session and we were literally watching the weather radar trying to jump on the perfect time to shoot between rain showers! After an “all systems go” phone call, we met and ended up capitalizing on the perfect day – and our location was complete with a few flowers that had survived the previous storm …and a mini waterfall (Julian’s FAV!). He enjoyed exploring the area before settling in on the waterfall – and there was no moving him after that . Here are a few from his session.

The area we chose for our session was speckled with pretty little yellow and lavender wildflowers. These two sweet little girls would have spent all day picking bunches of tiny bouquets had I not kept interrupting them for photos! Little brother, however, was much more interested in being on the move – he will be up and walking (running) in no time! Here are a few shots from our session.

Well, officially I think this was Leo’s session, but big brother came along for some combo and cameo shots – which was great because I got to hear a little guitar pick’n (he’s quite talented). Both boys were great, but I tell you, when Leo realized we were nearing the end, he turned into a tiny GQ model and posed his little heart out. He had obviously been holding out for the last stretch! We had a wonderful, crisp morning for this session – these two little guys came all dressed up and ready to go! William and I did a bit of exploring and even found a nice slimy snail. We found him early on and it became a great concern/topic for William – he definitely would have the snail over me! Give Thomas a few more months and he’ll be on the prowl as well, but for our session he seemed to just enjoy the outdoor time. Here are a few from day.
