Some of you know that we’ve been in the middle of a family move – very chaotic to say the least! Thanks to all who have been patient with scheduling and communication! Needless to say, I’ve been behind on, uh, everything. This post is for Miss Avery’s mommy, who has been waiting patiently… a few peeks from Avery’s newborn session .

Hope everyone has a happy 4th of July celebration – it seems in times like these, outlined with such political and economic unrest, it’s nice to set aside a day and be thankful for the freedoms we do enjoy. This little one showed up full of sweet, sleepy smiles. She obviously enjoys being a model! I was excited when I realized that Ms. Hannah was going to be able to wear my pom-pom hat. It’s super small and she’s the first little girl who’s been able to fit it! I’ll definitely need to make some larger ones now that I’ve seen it worn so well . This little guy was so very alert during our session. He wasn’t about to nap for me, but he did seem interested in what I had to say His big yawn was the closest he got to tuckering out, but even that didn’t lead him down the path – made for a cute picture, though! Here are a few of Mr. Will.

This gorgeous little girl was 8 days old when she came for her session – the perfect time for a newborn, really. She is such a sweet baby. Mom & Dad brought her in with a full tummy so she was nice and sleepy – didn’t mind her first photo shoot at all! It was a special shoot for me because I was the wedding photographer for Adalyn’s parents. Shooting her newborn pics is like icing on the cake and a huge thanks to Mom & Dad for being such a great help – Ms. Adalyn is a lucky little girl!

Here’s a gorgeous little girl who, like little Aaron from the previous post, decided she needed to be awake for her shoot. She defied her routine so she could check out what was going on! Meet Aaron, one of the new kids on the block. You wouldn’t know it from these pics, but this little guy wanted to stay up for his entire shoot. He was definitely more interested in what we were doing than nodding off. However, the Sandman finally won out and the little guy gave in – for a bit, anyway . A big thanks to Mom & Dad for hanging in there for this shoot! Everyone deserved a nap!
