What a great family to work with! This was our 2nd session together, so the girls (and Mom & Dad) knew what to expect …and they brought the pizzazz! We hit a few spots downtown and had some fun posing sessions with lots of great shots. Here are a few from the day.

We met for this session during the beginning of our June heat wave, but thankfully this group endured and stayed the course. No one ended up in the nearby water, although it was very tempting! …and although they were ready to head for cooler air, I think everyone had a good time (at least it looks like it from the images!) We managed to snag another pretty day for this family shoot before the torrential rain set in! A new baby boy, visiting grandparents, and pretty little girls – definitely called for a photo session. Here are a few sneak peeks for Mom – more on the way!

We actually met for this session before Christmas, but it never made the blog since the shoot was a surprise for Dad! It was a simple, black backdrop and they all rocked it – very classic! We also got some shots of the amazing Caroline, who not long ago completed an entire IRON MAN TRIATHLON! For those of you unfamiliar with the concept, it’s a 2.4 mile swim, 112 mile bike ride, and a 26.2 mile run – consecutively… on the SAME day! I know – crazy! She’s awesome! Here are a few from the session.

I was so thankful the weather cooperated for this family shoot – each of my fall sessions has luckily missed the rain! A crisp fall morning, two pretty little girls, and the smell of blueberry muffins. That’s how we started our session – and just when the girls were ready to call it quits, we had a quick wardrobe change and got a few last shots in polka dots. I had to include the last pic for Mom – I was trying to get Alison to touch her nose to Ashley’s nose for a cute “candid” – this is what she came up with… and by golly, I think it works Here are a few from the morning…

Oh, to have her energy! This little fireball was on the move as soon as her feet hit the ground! …and she was so captivated by everything around her – such a natural explorer! Thank goodness we found a nice, lazy turtle early on – it allowed us to totally exploit a shady location longer than I would have expected . Little Miss Ryn and her family will be moving to Oklahoma in the near future, so Mom set up a session before they go. So many new adventures ahead – wish you all the very best! Here are a few from the session. (Note: I would have loved to join her in the fountain!)

These two love birds were in town, spending a few days relaxing at Barnsley Gardens with family, to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. I know – pretty wonderful, huh? They decided to schedule a photo session and document a bit of their time together. What a great group to hang out with – they maintained a spunky energy level, even with the astronomical heat index we faced!
