Oh, to have her energy! This little fireball was on the move as soon as her feet hit the ground! …and she was so captivated by everything around her – such a natural explorer! Thank goodness we found a nice, lazy turtle early on – it allowed us to totally exploit a shady location longer than I would have expected . Little Miss Ryn and her family will be moving to Oklahoma in the near future, so Mom set up a session before they go. So many new adventures ahead – wish you all the very best! These two love birds were in town, spending a few days relaxing at Barnsley Gardens with family, to celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary. I know – pretty wonderful, huh? They decided to schedule a photo session and document a bit of their time together. What a great group to hang out with – they maintained a spunky energy level, even with the astronomical heat index we faced! I met Allie downtown for her senior portrait session . We had fun looking for interesting spots while also trying to stay as cool as possible. She had a great attitude and was up for the challenge! Here are a few from her session.

Shelby arrived all smiles for her senior shoot. It was so funny – she couldn’t help smiling. We worked on a few “serious” faces, but the smile always lingered nearby, ready to burst through! I even asked her to ponder her least favorite class (which I won’t mention, but I’m right there with ya, Shelby), but to no avail. She’s just a happy, happy girl Here are a few peeks from the session – thanks for hanging with me even though we were baking in the heat (that goes for you, too, Mom!)…

I love senior portrait shoots – so fun! Who wouldn’t want to be a model for a couple of hours??? and Ms. Sierra did a wonderful job – especially considering it was another 103˚ session! Like an oven – but we did our best to stay cool and she kept smiling – love those green eyes! Here are a few from the day…

These two handsome little red heads had to brave some pretty warm weather for their shoot. When we began their session it was 103˚ outside! Needless to say, we headed for the shade! The boys did great (considering there was no swimming pool available) and Mom & Dad were a big help too Here are a few from the session.

I promise – this photo is not indicative of our entire session! It was just her way of saying she’d had enough of the paparazzi action.
